As I'm sure you saw in my About Me, my name is Zach.
I give off an obnoxious, outgoing side of me in my personality, but really have a darker, "quiet" side not many are familiar with.
I really like deep, interesting conversations with people who are close to me.
As far as seasons go, I'm a spring and summer kinda guy, with autumn not trailing far behind. I absolutely despise winter, though!
I love to take walks when I'm down or depressed, usually playing loud music drowning out every sound around me. Perfect therapy for me.
I love going back to Chicago and seeing my old friends. Anything to get me the hell out of here.
I'm an aspiring sports journalist and hope that someday I can succeed in that field. I have high hopes for myself and have every intention of achieving those goals.
I like the company of friends, and usually like to get close to them solely in the fear that I could lose them, which is why I treat them so well.
My Top Friends are the people who mean the most to me. I take more merit in that than most people, and I like to show people how much I truly respect them and that's sort of a token of my appreciation for all they've done for me.
I enjoy my place in life, and it keeps getting better for me. I like to try and make things better surrounded by people who make me happy.

The name is Zach Bernard, but you can just call me Zach. I'm a much different person that what's conveyed, and what people see on the exterior.
I'm a Junior at Lockport Twownship High School and currently reside in, you guessed it, Lockport, IL. I do have every intention to move back "home" someday, which is naturally, Chicago, where I lived for twelve years.
My birthday is October 29th. I like having a birthday in one of the best months of the year.
I'm single but am always looking for a stable relationship. I haven't been the luckiest guy in the world and have always had a hard time looking for the right person. So now, I'm just waiting...
Baseball is the most important thing in my entire life, and always has been. I'm going into my fifteenth year as a fan and my fourteenth as a Chicago Cubs fan. While that may be, I usually try and remain neutral to the White Sox. I do like other teams though, like the Atlanta Braves, Los Angeles Angels, and the Milwaukee Brewers. I also collect baseball paraphanaelia and have a hell of a collection going.
I do like other sports as well. I love hockey, huge Blackhawks fan and also like the Calgary Flames and Colorado Avalanche. Football to a lesser extent, with the Bears, Kansas City Chiefs, and Arizona Cardinals. And NBA and NCAA basketball with the Bulls, Duke Blue Devils, and Phoenix Suns.
Music is the second most important thing in my life. I know that's a very common, cliche' thing to say, but it's gotten me through some of the roughest times of my life. My favorite bands are Rush and Genesis. My favorite style of music is prog, but I do like metal, alternative, pop, ska, etc.
I'm a singer, a damn good one at that, and am currently in a project that has yet to take off. I also play drums, but not nearly well enough to do it for a band.
Writing is my greatest passion in life. I've been told my teachers and very close friends that I could make it far one day writing lyrics, poems, novels, or articles for a living and I've always run with that. I'm an aspiring sports journalist and aim very high. Eventually, I'd like to write for Sports Illustrated and be on MLB Tonight or Baseball Tonight.
Comedy is a huge part of my life. I'm always watching something that uses comedy, whether it be a TV show, movies, or stand-up. I always like to evoke humor into my personality, which is why I'm such a sarcastic prick sometimes :D It's a great pick-up when you're down and usually always suffices in dark times. Making people laugh is a major hobby of mine.
I've been through a lot in my life and been to the highest highs and the lowest lows, which is why a lot of people come to me for advice. I usually help people out with advice from past experiences and more often than not I pull through for them. Helping people out is definitely something I love to do, because it makes me feel so much better about myself.
I'm a nice guy to just about everyone, and am very tolerant towards other people. It takes a lot to piss me off.
I have terribly low self-esteem despite the positive personality I always convey. I usually hate starting conversations, in person or on the internet, because I always feel like I'm interfering on something even though I'm probably not. Which explains why I'm never the first to IM someone or say "hello" to them. It's nothing against the person, I just have a difficult time approaching them. That's just a small example, and it's gonna take awhile before I totally get over this issue. It may also explain why I can't find a stable relationship...
Now that I'm about three years into high school, it's time to start looking into colleges. I have my heart set on Columbia in downtown Chicago, because it's a great school to explore my artistic and journalistic side, and is also back "home." I'd also like to go to Marquette in Milwaukee.
I have the best friends in the world, some who've been with me for ten years, some five years, others even less than five months. I've lost friends, but have become stronger without them. With that said, I usually feel closer to my Chicago friends than my Lockport friends. Nothing against my Lockport friends, but my Chicago friends were there most of my life as I was growing up, and I'll always remember them as the person who crafted me into who I am today.
I'm a terribly nostalgic person as I'm sure many people are aware of. I often tell stories that would mean no significance to you, but would be very important to me, reliving the memory. I like to play old video games on the Nintendo 64 and watch old cartoons, taking me back to a time when I didn't care about little things like I do now. Back to GOOD days...

Who I'd like to meet: There are so many people I'd like to meet it simply wouldn't be fitting for here. I've already met a lot of my heroes, including some people I talk to on a day-to-day basis. But there are still people I'd like to have the luxury of meeting before I die.

And startling hult you ask?? Well things just don't seem to be working out right in my life right now. I have a bf but it doesn't seem like he tries to be with me...its hard being away from friends that your used to seeing everyday and some family trouble...it all just srung on me at once. But i was expecting it like i told you before so its not all that bad but still i just wish things were going better.

well i guess either today (since its past 12) or tomorrow my mum wants me to go down to the club (south wilmington fireman's club for camping) so depending on her decision, which i will know tomorrow sometime, i can answer if i can.
Yea i almost lost the good part in my life yesterday. I tend to draw it towards me cuz i don't really trust ne one and i feel like its not fair to other people that i don't trust them and they trsut me so i end up ending things like relationships or watever it might b because i don't ever feel like im good enough to them. And wen that feeling sinks in i feel like i have to walk away from all the good im feeling so they will still feel happy. Do you get what im saying? Its kinda complicated. But yeasterday i guess i was over exxagerating and people kno how i am so its like they can find ways to not make me end things i guess cuz its alo very easy to persuade me. All i kno is that i'm a pretty messed up thinker. Its pretty great that you can comprehend the way i feel:)
I am usually a very optomistic person. Your right about that. But i also kno how my life works. One really good thing happens then a few days or weeks later something really bad happens. Its the cycle of my life. I guess its not that bad cuz im used to it being that way. I expect it so it doesn't bring me down as much. You know? So i don't think anything is wrong at the moment... i just know theres something coming.
Things are good because for some reason everything just seemed to fall in to place all at the same time. It was like a weird coincident of some sort. And ever since then i have been nothing but happy.
And i don't mind the long comments. They give me something to look forward to wen i check my myspace:)
