Influences	I would have to say I'm influenced by everything I've experienced to some degree--this list is a work in progress. Middle Eastern & Indian Music--Omar Faruk Tekbilek, Hossam Ramzy, Niyaz, Azam Ali, Maduro, Solace, Ravi Shankar, Anushka Shankar. Others: Dead Can Dance & Lisa Girard, Ministry, Gary Numan,Skinny Puppy, Switchblade Symphony, Sisters of Mercy...just about any "old school" goth & industrial, etc.

About Zel Hayal

Having a certain sound in my mind for years, never hearing it, this is an experimental project intended for making music with a unique & dark sound. It has been inspired by fusion bellydance and my love for Middle Eastern & Indian sounds as well as gothic and industrial music.
