Sounds Like
that guy around the campfire at that festival, or in the hotel after the show, or out on the street playing for change, or playing before the band that you actually came to see, or one of your old buddies, or...
if it ain't fun, why do it? i started calling my act dead horse as a kind of cynical joke due to my lack of success at keeping a band together long enough to reap the benefits of all the practice and accumulation of gear. so, in the spirit of improvisation, dead horse is a band du jour. yet, i use only the most kind and competent ingredience available. the songs are my original works, collaborations, and covers that called me to them for one reason or another. the band name may already be copywritten and i may get sued if i ever made any money off it, but as of right now that endeavor would just be an ironic cliche... even more so, from this musical mud puddle will emerge thoroughbred music which is very much alive.
