Castlerigg Stone Circle in the Lake District, which has been there for 5000 years, is a really interesting place. My watch once stopped the whole time I was within the circle....
My beloved Lake District with The Lark Ascending by Vaughn Williams which is one of my favourite pieces of music:-
Another place I love going to is Glastonbury - once the magical Isle of Avalon before they drained the land around it - what a special, spiritual and mystical place this is:-

Which Kate Bush Album Are You? (Includes Aerial!)
You are Kate's first album, The Kick Inside! Quirky, charming, and a bit offbeat, you are full of romantic energy and poetic, almost mystical imagery. Key songs: Wuthering Heights, The Man with the Child in His Eyes, Them Heavy People. Take this quiz!
In alphabetical order:- 84 Charing Cross Road, Black Book, Bridget Jones, Brief Encounter, Connie & Carla, East Is East, Funny Girl & Funny Lady, Her Majesty Mrs. Brown, Rebecca, Tea With Mussolini, The Apartment, What's Up Doc?, Wuthering Heights (1939). I love anything with Julie Walters in it - she just cracks me up.
This video is from Funny Lady - which was the first Streisand film that I ever saw...

Heroes
Barbra Streisand for her strength and convictions. Kate Bush for her myticism and for "rolling the ball". Gill Edwards for her spiritual teachings. And Shirley MacLaine for going out on a limb.

My friend Chris and I went to Bibee yesterday. Chris is my friend Kirce in my top friends. She and I volunteer together at Wingspan on Saturdays, but we were closed for the 4th. We drove down to Bisbee, AZ--an old copper mining town about 90 miles from Tucson. It's a great tourist artsy kinda town full of old hotels and antique shops. We watched the guys in a rock drilling contest and then a mucking contest. I had never seen either. Then we drove down the hill for a terrific fireworks show. Drove back to Tucson in time to catch another good fireworks show at Hi Corbett Field--one of our baseball stadiums. Nice day!! I hope yours was good as well!! Have a good Sunday! XOXOOX
