ZENEN BIOGRAPHY With a laptop, a microphone and an aresenal of sounds Jesus M. began to create what two years later would manifest into the new Zenen album titled An End To This Line. In order to immerse himself in the writing process without distractions he left his home in NYC and traveled to Barcelona, Berlin, Miami, New Orleans and several other cities. Inspired by failed relatoinships and influenced by the sounds of Depeche Mode, Massive Attack, Underworld, My Bloody Valentine, Sneaker Pimps, Cocteau Twins, PJ Harvey, Brian Eno and Peter Gabriel , the album is full of electronic beats, textured soundscapes, and layers of synthesized guitars woven together with lyrical intensity. An End To This Line is an album Zenen is extremely proud of and we hope you feel the music as deep as we do. Listen. Feel. Dance.

Bah. I think that there is a friend-of-Michelle commandment that goes something like this: "Thou shalt not move a party because maybe Michelle (and others) can make it, but really move it to a date that is impossible for Michelle to make." Or something like that. In any case, I am still bitter. (But of course, this only makes seeing you more desirable) Am still investigating the possibility of swinging by NYC for a couple days...stay tuned.
i got a new track up. the first one that i have produced in my new home in barcelona. it’s called ‘patata orgasm’ and it’s some really crazy stuff full of screaming people, moaning cats and aggressive basslines. so be careful...
