Observations on the state of things at 27.

Things you should know about me:
- I'm a lady that is moving on with her life.
- I am doing this by moving to Pennsylvania, where I will finish my political science degree at one of the plethora of colleges in the Pittsburgh area and go for a Master's in Library Science.
- My compatriot partner-in-crime is this boy:

who I will also be marrying in October. He is scintillating in all things musical and metaphysical and absolutely resplendent in the sack. He also cooks dinner, washes dishes, and is generally thoughtful and kind.
- I also have a lovely little flower named Lillian:
who is curious, sensible and wise. More adjectives to describe her would be: sassy, brilliant, creative, articulate, excitable, silly, and snuggly. She also asks me if I have any Wilco in the car.
- I've started sleeping again, after 2 years of endless nights and 4am mornings, in part because of the copious amounts of sex I've been having. I mean, at least 500 times in the past 10 months.
- I wear green glasses and no, I didn't get them to match my apron, thanks.
- I can name all the sitting Supreme Court Justices and the presidents who appointed them. It's my parlor trick. Don't ask me to perform, though, 'cause it's been a few years since I've tried ;)
-I like to buy Aim toothpaste because it reminds me of childhood summers with my Dad.
- I can be impatient, stubborn when I choose, and anal-retentive about organization and cleanliness. Just ask Kyle.
- I like to write and have been publishing myself online regularly for about 5 or 6 years now. Just check out this old Live Journal to see where I've been...
- I am an audiophile whore and I dare you to put a dent in my impeccable selections. I love to share, though, and I don't judge you for your bad taste...
- I WILL beat you at Connect Four,I guarantee it.
- I like to take pictures of eyes.

- I can't get enough of Haruki Murakami:
I'd stare at my face purely as a physical object, and gradually it would disconnect from the rest of me, becoming just some thing that happened to exist at the time as myself. And a realization would come to me: This is happening here and now. It's got nothing to do with footprints. Reality and I exist simultaneously at this present moment. That's the most important thing.
- I love every single, metaphorical, screaming, chaotic cell that is life.
- Melody can heal anything.
