Zen is for vocals, guitars and mandolin. Steve is for providing all those notes on the bass clef. Skins are for Delano, and Delano is for skins 'nough said.
Influences
This group is most heavily influenced by deceased poets, and that weird kid that hangs out with Winnie the Pooh.

Now! You Can Hear Our Music Here: Listen especiallly for Hotlanta Jams on Monday and Wednesday evenings, 8 to 10 PM Eastern Standard time.
A Brief History:
Delano and I (Zen) have been creating and playing music together for... damn! I forget, exactly. Two, or maybe six years. It's a blur. We've gone from volunteering our musical services at a local church, to playing session, to about a year with Annie Went Blind.
Delano comes from jazz roots and I'm from pop, rock, and funk. (some have suggested that Delano is Carter Beauford--of the Dave Mathews Band--reincarnated, but Carter is still alive, so that's just stupid)
Steve, who joined us in July, comes from "across the pond" and has been all around AND "down under". He's played for a bunch of bands, and his roots are actually from the British punk scene (We're talking old school). Steve is a songwriter in his own right. He mentioned in his bio--which I threw out--that he's obsessive about the band Hawkwind. I'm not sure if that means he's a stalker or not. We like his accent, even though he insists that WE are the ones who talk funny.
Our Sound:
Get some speakers for your computer, for crying out loud! It is the 21st century, after all. We do like to mix it up. All I know for sure is that we've never played a show without gaining new fans, and every gig we hear how grateful people are that we're an alternative to the many, many clones in the Vegas rock scene.
A Note On Philosophy: Sometimes it's OK to play minor, 7th, 9th, suspended, or various other chord forms. If you don't know what those are, then you must be in a band in Vegas. It's also OK, sometimes, to NOT scream all your lyrics and turn up to 11 (I'm joking, guys and gals, don't let it rattle your nose rings).

--The views expressed under "philosophy" are my views, and do not necessarily reflect the views of the rest of Zen Lizard. It's likely, in fact, that they are rather embarrassed by them.
