ZEN is returning to the studio! Stay tuned for new tunes!
In the monotonous sea of current bands, ZEN is a breath of fresh air. Proving themselves as a unit of female musicians since 2003, ZEN is an interesting mix of punk, prog-rock, hardcore, ska, and jazz. All three members are currently attending college throughout New York State, but the distance does not keep them from writing or even practicing via video chat. At ZEN's live show, you are sure to be hit by a face full of double bass, epic solos, tight rhythms, and powerful vocals.
In 2006, ZEN recorded their first 5 track demo with the help of the amazing Mr. Gabriel Jasmin. ZEN has played throughout southern New York and New York City.
