Books

About me: Born in Texas. Raised in Ohio. Schooled in Indiana and Michigan. Felt some strange calling to get back to Texas, so moved to Austin. Sometimes musician. Always a music fan. Wish I had more time for all the things I enjoy doing. Social butterfly. Introvert. Aunt. Turning into my mother. Trying to find meaning and my place in this world. Sensitive. Sarcastic.
Who I'd like to meet: The question's more "who wouldn't I like to meet?" I'd like to reconnect with old friends, so if you've known me in the past, feel free to drop me a line. I'd like to extend my circle here in Texas. I'd like to meet folks outside of Texas 'cause I don't plan on staying here forever. And I'd like to meet you if you're in the NYC area!!

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I know I'm a couple days early but i thought i better do this while it's on my mind (my fibro-fog has killed my memory). Drop me a line soon and let me know how you are doing and what's up.
This is a short poem made up entirely of actual quotations from George W. Bush. These have been arranged, only for aesthetic purposes, by Washington Post writer, Richard Thompson. A wonderful poem like this is too good not to share.
MAKE THE PIE HIGHER
I think we all agree the past is over. This is still a dangerous world. It's a world of manmen and uncertainty And potential mental losses.
Rarely is the question asked Is our children learning? Will the highways of the Internet Become more few?
How many hands have I shaked? They misunderestimate me. I am a pitbull on the pantleg of opportunity.
I know that the human being And the fish can coexist. Families is where our nation finds hope, Where our wings take dream.
