Z-LOUNGE is a 2 and a half stage venue, sushi bar and restaurant that is currently looking for bands, and promoters in Silverlake/Los Angeles.
It's little wonder why Zen Sushi has been a Silverlake mainstay for two decades. A hip atmosphere, great food and drinks, full service sushi bar, nightly entertainment, moderate prices and romantic touches draw an artsy and hip mix from the eclectic to the artsy Silverlake hamlet and beyond.
Zen Sushi serves mainly sushi and Japanese cuisine, such as tempura, teriyaki, sashimi, sesame chicken, Udon and Sukiyaki. But there's a little something on the menu to please nearly everyone's palate, including vegetarian dinners, fresh fish.
A wood burning grill, full service sushi bar, full service bar, outdoor smoking patio and three traditionally decorated dining rooms, including secluded dining areas with upholstered benches, dim lights and candlelight, make meals all the more relaxing. Nightly entertainment such as live music, spoken word and experimental dance on either the Kabuki stage upstairs or the smaller stage downstairs just makes it harder to leave.
Zen Sushi serves dinner from 6-11 p.m. nightly. The bar stays open until 2 a.m., offering tropical drinks, special plum wine and a wide selection of flavored sakes, along with beer, wine and cocktails Reservations are suggested. We have our happy hour from 6-8pm 7 days a week. No matter what you'r looking for Zen has it!
