Based on the Costa del Sol in Spain, Linda Newman, Danny Newman, and Lesh Gasiorek make up Zentribe. Three people with very different musical backgrounds but sharing a love of dance music, their simple aim is to produce the best tracks they can in both house and trance.
Coming originally from the London folk scene, guitarist/vocalist Danny teamed up with his wife Linda in the 1990's to form a song writing and performing partnership. Linda worked as a session and live performance vocalist in the UK before moving to Spain in 2000. She has appeared at various high profile live events organized by such people as MixMag & Miss Moneypenny and sung in clubs in clubs all over Europe and the Middle East. She has plenty of recording experience with both her own material and has featured on the work of other artists. Several tracks written by Linda & Danny have been released on the Tongue n Cheek label, (Oxford, UK) as well as other trance and house tracks released in Italy with DDE Records. Linda is currently much in demand on the club circuit of the Costa del Sol, Spain.
Lesh grew up inspired by the electronic sounds of New Order, Kraftwerk, Yello, Pet Shop Boys and Jarre, and was converted to dance music by Sasha & Digweed's ground-breaking Renaissance mix cd of the early 90's. The resulting tracks produced in his studio, secured releases with labels such as Global Underground's Quad Communications, Hook Recordings, Automatic, Eve Nova, and Graham Gold's Good-As. To date, Lesh has about 15 releases to his name, under various artist names, such as Control-Z, Shibumi, Pathogen, Eyekon, and others, with some of his tracks featuring on mix cd's by Christopher Lawrence, John 00 Fleming, Hook Recordings, Black Hole, etc. A chance meeting at a club in Spain in early 2004 has led to a successful writing collaboration, with Linda and Danny writing the lyrics and vocal melodies while Lesh concentrates on the music and studio production side - and the whole thing topped off by Linda's amazing vocals. The result is a collection of exciting new tracks, released under the name Zentribe.
Zentribe's first release was "I Just Love" released on Stonebridge's StoneyBoy label with mixes by Zentribe, Tom Belton and Playmaker. This was followed by "Let The Music Flow" on UMM in 2007, with the original mixes plus remixes by Reefer & Shooter and more recently a cracking trance mix by Melodia. Zentribe's 3rd single, "Superlove" is due for release in February on Blue Dove Records, and will be available as a 3 -track CD single.
