From inside the shadow of the world’s tallest building comes Taipei’s Zephec, a onetime drummer making rich, emotive nightdrive soundtracks. Zephec’s year zero came after stumbling upon the Kompakt back catalogue, beginning a journey that has just stopped off with debut album ’We Will Still Repeat Today’, an eight-track, paced-down trip through shuffling beats and layered synths. Despite having been a nominee in a talent competition himself, Zephec is taking aim on bubblegum boy bands that dominate his local radio, determined that his music will be one of the least manufactured things ever to leave Taiwan----

Zephec started his music career as a drummer in Taiwan. As the digital music revolution spreads globally, Zephec soon jumped on the bandwagon and began making his own sound under the alias “ZC“ who was nominated in Fnac Attention Talent in 2003.
The album “We Will Still Repeat Today“ - is the debut release of both Zephec and the label – Tripper Records.
This 8 tracks album that is based on the concept of micro house progresses at a slow but nice pace, giving people enough warmth to feel and enough space to think.
Generally speaking, the whole album is like a space journey that leads you all the way through all the bad time you had. You can feel the warm emotion under the layered-and-layered synth and beat so that still find there’s some space for you to lie down and to release yourself.
