I try to hang out and work with as many different musicians/writers and scenarios as possible... not only do I get exposed to a variety of styles, but it's a bunch of fun and great way to learn -- not to mention an essential means of cultivating humility.

It started as a kid listening to the radio while I should have been sleeping -- my first guitar -- music school -- the road -- silence
I've been learning/playing music pretty much all my life, working at songwriting about 5-6 years, and feel like I'm just getting comfortable with my voice as a writer. Grew up in NY/NJ, headed south many moons ago, been in Charlotte, NC since 1996. I'm an NSAI Charlotte coordinator and active musician/performer.

i'm recording ten songs in ten days and releasing them all, plus three more, on JUNE 8TH! lo-fi, independent, all about the songs and not the perfect sound- i'm very excited.

hi angelo, it was SO great meeting you face-to-face. i wish we could have had a little more to time to talk, but it was a busy weekend. i was incredibly impressed with your group. you all were so organized and so hospitable. great energy in that room. i'd love to come back. will keep an eye on your website. i'd also love to collaborate on something with you. i'll look through some ideas again and see if anything hits me. you do the same!
