   About Zero to Sixty

A funny thing happened...Mirek and Chris were over at Lukas's house. They were recently in a band called 1dickens, now going through some rough times and having a drink. It just so happened that Dan Precision was over and had one too many vodkas...it's always easy to find a bottle of vodka at a Polak's house. Heavily influenced by this pimp juice, Dan was suckered into starting a new band with these guys. Being drunk themselves, they forgot that Dan spent many years in the trenches with bands like 88 Fingers Louie, Rise Against, and Break the Silence. They would soon learn the harsh reality of the force. With three guitar players and a bassist, something was amiss. They felt like a Garcia's burrito without the salse verde, thus the search for a drummer ensued. They spent a few months practicing with bearded Tony from a band called L'nore. On one of their sober practice nights, they received a very sobering message from Denis Buckley; who also fought in said trenches with 88 Fingers Louie. Truth be told, he felt like he had some fight left in him and decided to join the band. Tony's replacement was Dan's former bandmate in Break the Silence, ex-Shai Hulud drummer, Mike Ford. This viking from Finland, who looks nothing like a viking from Finland, agreed to come along for the ride...add another sober individual to the mix. As most bands do, they sat around poring over many ridiculous band names. In the end they chose the name they hated the least, the one that spoke to them, the one that ground their gears, the one that brought them glorious visions, the one that revved their engines, the one that tickled their pickles. And from that day, they were known as Zero to Sixty.

I've been an 88 Fingers Louie fan for over 10 years now, you guys were THE FIRST band I ever went to see live, you set the standard in my mind of what a show should be like, it was at The Nile in Mesa Az and you played with fury 66 and a few other bands, you guys played on the floor of the top floor even though the stage was there, you were up in our faces, I was in the front row, I think about that concert often, It makes me sad that 3 of the 4 original members in 88 Fingers Louie are in bands that I like(Rise Against and Zero To Sixty) and yet you guys NEVER did a reunion tour(as far as I know) since the 2nd break up. My FAVOR that I ask is, ONE LAST TIME before you guys get too old or don't feel like touring again is to do a FINAL REUNION FAREWELL TOUR it's only fair to us fans around the U.S.A. and other places that never got to see "the final 88 show" SO WHAT DO YOU GUYS SAY?....ALL FANS READING THIS, TELL YOUR FRIENDS TO VISIT THIS MYSPACE AND REQUEST ONE LAST TOUR FROM 88! MAYBE IT'll WORK? I'm sure Joe can find a break from R. A.
and Zero To Sixty can take a break from the local scene of Chicago and hit the road, what do you guys say? PLEASE! much love- Brad Frazier

Hey ZTS. The Launchpad just re-opened tonight after a couple months hiatus after fire damange. So you have no excuse to not come to Albuquerque for a show. Ok, $4/gallon is a good one but just wanted to know you were wanted here.
