Good song writing in general, but some of my favorite artists are:
The Beatles, Tom Waits, Harry Nilsson, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Johnny Cash, Cole Porter and the Brothers Gershwin, The Cure, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Louis Prima, Lady Day, Elvis Presley, Buster Keaton, Martin Brodeur, William Shatner, David Lynch, Rod Serling, Pablo Picasso, the fine people who make Jameson whisky and, last but not least: Henry Chinaski.
Singer, songwriter (and sometime playwright) Mickey Zetts has most recently received the award for Best Original Song for Mister Bitter's Blues from last year's production of "APATHY-The Gen X Musical in CONCERT" from the Spotlight On Theatre Organization.
The show also received a citation for Best New Musical Summer 2005 by Talking Broadway.com
