ZEVINISM: A term used for a random, non-sequitur notion that occurs in one's train of thought at any given moment in time. Usually an awkward moment at that. The term comes from an abstract thinker named Kevin "Zevin" Zeiger who started posting several of such terms on a local website. The term soon found popularity in the early 2000's and has been used primarily for awkward thinking ever since that timeframe.
