Waz up brother! You know those songs we practiced the last time we practiced? I was just thinkin' that those songs would sound AWESOME if they got recorded. Just something to think about... lol
hello, friends. question the first: are there places in town that you hate playing? if not, we can totally play soundpony, under the mooch, the continental, and all the other hipster hot spots. question two: is it cool if i download these two songs and put them on a cd with our songs, so the people i pitch it to, will have a better idea of how a show with both bands would go? we could even make copies and sell them as a split single, if they sounded cool. just a couple thoughts. we have a show at the continentl in january and are trying to book like 3 gigs a month, for the first half of the year. i need to know where we can get paid to play though. the bands that we play with usually don't have the same love for hooks and choruses, that i feel like both of our bands share. so, i think we'd end up blowing some people's minds, if they'd just let us play. holla back. -ryan
I'm already starting to feel a lot better man. Saturday sounds good for me as long as we stop at that time. Work starts the next day at 7 and its a twelve hour day!
I understand that you wanna do studio this upcoming Saturday. Dude I've got work early in the morning Sunday, BUT if we can try to not go so late then chances are I'll be up for it.
Btw, I'm starting to feel a lot better and I should be much improved by Saturday. I'll call you and fill you in on my status. Later brother!
well, we're all so weird and abrasive that i'm not sure who we should play for. alot of teenagers and alt-rocker types dig us, but we seem to rub alot of the hipsters here in town the wrong way. there's your typical places, like the continental and soundpony and what not, but i'm trying to focus on playing shows that actually mean something. i know where we can play, but it's who we end up playing for, that really counts. if you have any tips for getting better shows, let me know. i'll have something more concrete early next week. -ryan
hey, ziff! what's new? hope life is treating you guys well. i guess we were wanting to know if you guys were gonna be playibg out at all, in the near future. we're tryibg to get some gigs ligned up, and would love to play with you guys again. if you're up for it, let me know and i'll make that shit happen. xoxo, ryan fro maindrayn
