Malcolm McNulty aka Mal McNulty. Proud Parent of Leon, Victoria, Melissa (mouse) & Emily. Born and raised in Liverpool & played in a dozen local bands before moving to London most notably perhaps ROCKIN HORSE, FAN MAIL & HELTER SKELTER. Joined Danny Hynes' WEAPON in London and formed PADDY GOES TO HOLYHEAD with him. Later formed a spin off band called THE WANDERING CRUTCHLEES with Tino Troy (Preying Mantis, Stratus) Bruce Bisland (Wildfire, Statetrooper) and Jeff Brown (Wildfire, Statetrooper). Sang on an album for German Heavy Rockers HAZZARD & then Joined THE SWEET as a Bass player for ANDY SCOTT & MICK TUCKER (later replaced by Bodo Schopf from MSG) I became the singer and Stayed with The Sweet for nine years. During this time we made 2 live albums and a studio album. In 1987 Andy, Danny & I also sang on the GOSH charity single with NODDY HOLDER & JIMMY NAIL. I then played with TRIAL BY JURY In Reading for about six months but I moved back to London to became a computer engineer. During this time I formed THE BINMEN with Ozzy stixman Frank Hall, Dave Setchfield on Bass and Des Duffy on Guitar. I got the call June 2005 to audition for the job of singer with SLADE.
Hi Mal! :) Just a short message from me after that long time, I'm sorry for beeing so quiet!!! As Caroline already wrote, at the moment we're really stressed and busy, there was much annoyance in our life lately and we're BOTH looking for a new job now... I can keep mine as long as I want, but it's time for a change again anyway. Unfortunately there's not enough work with only 2 horses left - situation changed big way. :( So... I hope to find something else soon...
