Ziggurat 90'larin basinda Coşan ve Çaglayan tarafindan kuruldu. Daha sonra Coşan Aperion (senfonik black metal), Çaglayan Antagrel (death metal) de çaldi. 93 de tekrar toparlanan Ziggurat 94 de ilk kaydini cikardi 'THE SEEDS OF RA' beste calismalarina hiz verdi hiç cover yapmadi. Su ana kadar bircok müzisyenle calisti; gitarda Onur Günes, davulda Enis Akdeniz, klavyede Senol Beyazit, bas gitarda Ilruba Günes ile son halini aldi. Bircok yan proje ve ortak projelerde yer aldi. 8.kayitlari 'the ziggurat' 17 parcadan olusuyor. 1993 yilindan beri müzikle ugrasan ziggurat 9. kayitlari 'GRIEF'i de cikardilar. Bu kayitta 17 parçadan olusuyor.Su anda 10. kayitlari 'SHAMANN'ile ugrasiyorlar. Kaç sarki olacagi ve çikis tarihi belli degil... kayitlara ziggurat.anatolianrock.com adresinden ulasilabilir.
