Mercoledì 19 novembre, presso Officine, locale in Via del Pigneto 215, a partire dalle ore 21, verrà presentato il terzo romanzo di Mario Desiati, “Il paese delle spose infelici” (Mondadori, 2008). Il romanzo,ambientato nella Puglia degli anni ’80, racconta la storia di Domenico e Francesco, chiamati da tutti Zazà e Veleno. Sono due ragazzini che giocano tra gravine e trulli con una banda di personaggi memorabili insieme a cui cresceranno. I due vengono da famiglie molto diverse: Zazà vive in un quartiere popolare, Veleno è un figlio di papà. Negli anni si imbatteranno in Annalisa, una ragazza dalla vita poco ordinaria e dalla bellezza fuori dal comune. Annalisa frequenta i matti del paese, si veste fuori moda, chiacchiera soltanto con uomini molto anziani e si porta addosso terribili dicerie che gli eventi paiono confermare drammaticamente con il passare del tempo. Eppure il suo fascino unico sembra perseguitare come una maledizione i due amici, cui la vita serba disavventure e svolte clamorose. Sarà presente l’autore. Interverrà, inoltre, il giornalista Rossano Astremo.
