Influences
I have got plently of influence from a cross genre of music. My main Drum n Bass influnces have to be artist like commix, high contrast, logistics, nu-tone, anything on hospital records basically, Dj marky, bungle, digital, icicle, marcus intalex, zinc, andy c, d kay, d bridge etc etc. My other influces have to be more dub artist like kode 9, leofa, mala, boxcutter, burial, skream, benga and many many more.
Hello everybody i am Zillion. People may know me as many other names though like my real name Daniel Hill. I am now 20 and living in Norwich in the U.K.
Ive been creating music for the last couple of years slowly growing and perfecting my skills and sound. I mainly listen to dubstep and drum and bass and more experimental original music. I started out producing drum and bass but got into dubstep and enjoy the more creativeness in the genre. Im a breaking boundaries not copying moulds so the tracks on my page in my opinion are original and unique.
I am creating what i would consider to be deep dubstep with a very soulful feel probably not amazing good in a dance but would get me raving like a madman. I also tend to get lost and head for darkness in my tracks and try to compare them as much as i can. I like music that has a lot going on and try to create that vibe in my tracks. Im a sample enthusiast and love chopping up old samples i find through create digging and what not. Hate eneric sounds and porr sounding synths.
I am currently in my first year at access to music in norwich on level three. After the course if everything goes to plan i hope to carry on my studies at university level. Ideally one day i would like to end up in bristol the mecca of dubstep.
Look out for remix's of my tunes that will be floating about soon and remix's which i have done. Check out artists like Iso, Luxton.
