Hopeful lyrics and great melodies make Zimmerman a band to watch. Their freshman release, “This Missing Peace” is a powerful and mature contribution to the Christian music scene.
The record was produced by artist Robbie Seay and features the radio single, “At The Cross”. The band has toured heavily in 15 states playing shows from 100 to several thousand, including a main-stage appearance at Spirit West Coast.
Formerly known as Anchordown, they sold 5000 copies of their first 2 indie releases, primarily driven by their tour schedule, inlcuding "Speaks So Still" produced by Will Hunt of Shane and Shane. They won battle of the bands at the local and national level, mainstream and Christian. Their first music video featured their single "The Wait" a departure from any previous work stylistically.
Independent radio welcomed their releases with strong airplay for both of the Anchordown radio singles “Unseen” and “Is It You”.
In January of 2009, they transitioned into the current band Zimmerman, after working with producer Robbie Seay (EMI) and getting great mixes from Ainslie Grosser.
This year the band has worked hard at writing an developing new songs for a future studio project.
