Zinduka (Shai Kalev a.k.a Liquitricity and Yonatan Font aka Psyoni) started whilst creating a cartoon when Shai needed an audio production for his animation. The process was so much fun, Shai and Yonatan decided to start making music together, this was the birth of Zinduka in Spring 2005!
"Zinduka comes from Swahili and has several different translations:
Wake up!
Waking up to a loud noise
Coming out of a trance or spell
Being suddenly awoken from a day dream
Gaining consciousness."
Zinduka have been playing in the San Francisco Bay area creating a storm with their live set.... Zinduka performed at Burning Man 2006, Straylight 2006, Il Pirate, Takuan Eel River, and the Patchouli Lounge in Israel.

Both Shai and Yonatan were influenced in their earlier years by alternative rock, heavy metal and grunge and also share the love of playing the guitar. The mid 90's took an electronic shift in the musical consciousness of both minds, bouncing beats, bleeps, quirky samples, hedonistic parties and festivals paved the way to the door of the psychedelic trance universal tribe!
