On March 12, 2008 we released our first full-length albums; first out was Peter Friestedt with the follow-up to his LA Project, it features amongst others Joseph Williams, Bill Champlin, Randy Goodrum, Lou Pardini and Bill Cantos. We also have Daniel Andersson on board; his debut album “Days in L.A.” was released on the very same date. Daniel’s album is true to the classic Westcoast sound, be ready to be amazed! We also released the brand new studio album from Westcoast legend Robbie Dupree; the album is entitled “Time and Tide” and it saw the light of day on the Zink Music label on April 23, 2008.
Just recently we had yet another duo release and we cannot say how proud we are to have Jay Graydon’s and Randy Goodrum’s new project JaR on the label, nothing else than an album that is true to the genre and that is echoing of classic Steely Dan! The other album that was released on the very same date (October 31, 2008) is Sweden’s own Smooth Reunion, a cool album and as the band name reveals it is smooth and slick to perfection, mixing jazz and classic Westcoast in the finest of ways.
On December 10, 2008 we will release the European edition of Chicago singer Bill Champlin’s new studio album “No Place Left To Fall”, his first in 13 years. It is packed with a bonus DVD and features such eminent musician’s as Peter Cetera, Steve Lukather, Bruce Gaitsch and Michael English - this album will not disappoint!

Zink Music is also a distribution, marketing and promotional company that covers Scandinavia (Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark). Zink has an exclusive deal with Bonnier Amigo Music Distribution which handles sales and retailers. A big advantage is that for the whole of Scandinavia there only is one warehouse, it is situated in Sweden and reaches all retailers throughout Scandinavia! Bonnier Amigo is the leading independent distributor in Scandinavia with a total of 18% of the market and with separate sales teams in all four countries!
With this unique set-up we at Zink have more time for the artists; setting the promotional activities and arranging the marketing etcetera. We have a long experience from both major and independent labels; we have gathered our expertise on sales, marketing, promotion and from the more creative side of thing and put that into Zink.
Some of the labels we work with are Frontiers Records, MTM Music, NL Distribution, Cargo Records, Escape Music, Lion Music, Verglas and others. Since the start we have had quite a few artists on the official sales charts; like Toto, Glenn Hughes, Primal Fear, Journey, Great White, Dokken, Survivor, Phenomena, Michael Kiske, Arena, Thunder, Styx and many more.
