Up and coming pop singer/songwriter Zinnia is the very embodiment of cultural diversity. Born in Nigeria to parents of varying cultural backgrounds, her father is Persian and her mother Filipina, Zinnia’s roots are ever present in her music.
Zinnia’s love for music was cultivated at an early age, being the student of the popular Suzuki Piano Method, Zinnia wrote her very first composition “Flowers of One Garden” at the age of 4. Since then she has continued writing music pulling from life’s varied and sometimes unpredictable experiences.
Zinnia’s soul-stirring music has touched audiences of all ages and cultural backgrounds. Her thought-provoking lyrics encourage listeners, young and old alike, to take notice of the cruelties and dire conditions of the world and to take action to improve their lives and the lives of people around them.
