Anywat things started to move in 2007 when I n'I didnt have any drums or bass, Truzd and Kyaal gave us the first basic riddim give thanks for that I will never forget it, drum and bass but after Dale Absent the drummer from the Swedish band Treklang joined we where ready to chant Babylon down and he put his touch on Zion I Roots sound by putting in the bass and drum cause we lost our drummer and bass players and he put his own style in Zion I Roots, but we dont have one style, dubs, Nyahbinghi, Roots reggae, Ska, Acustic...
And people like Million Stylez, Daniel Asher, Uwe Banton and many more agreed to voice on some riddims...
Zion I Roots is a Dub Band but with different singers for different riddims sometimes 2 sing on the same...Wanted to do something different.
I Thord "Bongo" Asher wanna specially thank Daniel Asher (former know as the good Bredda D) for his inspiration he was a instrument collector like I.
And he did his music in the beginning at home when he was called Bredda D so I thought can he can I in a kinda way. He pushed I forward...And it was a honor to write to song Twelve Tribes of Israel with him with the new name Daniel Asher & Jah Covenant Band.
And of course the northern part of Sweden's oldest reggae band Treklang former known as Ska Police.
