About Zion Roots

Zion Roots based in the San Francisco Bay has roots in Dominica, the land of 365 rivers, and St. Thomas. Thier music ranges from deep roots reggae to calypso and zook. Zion Roots have been performing their brand of reggae music since 2000 and have played clubs, weddings, festivals, ski resorts, and partys throughout the U.S. and abroad. Since their incarnation Zion Roots have opened for reggae greats like Burning Spear, Damion Marley, and Toots and the Maytals just to name a few. Members of the Zion Roots riddim section have performed and toured with artists such as the Itals, Eek-a-Mouse, the Abbaysinians, Prez Brown, Lutan Fya, and Yami Bolo. Zion Roots' mission is to spread a positive message through the voice of reggae music.
