ZT was established by the Creator in 1997 as a prayer group and is known today as “New Orleans Female Vocal Sensation” backed by the hard-hitting, funky sounds of the International Band. ZION Trinity has been the opening act for Joseph Hill & Culture, The Wailers, Burning Spear, Lucky Dube & Maze featuring Frankie Beverly. ZION Trinity has rocked the stage at venues such as the Essence Music Festival, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, The House of Blues, The Experience Music Project (Seattle, WA), Sister Summer Fest (New York) and the Rock the Vote Fest (Key West, Fl.).
On the International stage, ZION Trinity has performed at the Harlem Jazz Club in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and their soulful music has been pumped on radios from Ghana, Africa to Salt Lake City, Utah. Their original hit song “Love Letters” was chosen for an International Reggae Music compilation CD entitled “Tune Tank IMC:06 Reggae Music Express 2006 CD” (www.tunetank.net). This compilation CD includes the hottest unsigned reggae artists from all over the globe. They’re International, Diverse & Dynamic!!!
