    Absurd metallers Zipperface released and toured their first EP Death of a mime back in 2005. Now after 6 years, and a Mary Poppins bag worth of other projects under their belts, they return with the EP Gastromancy -  "...expect pig/elephant hybrids, demented Dummies and the ten commandments…you may need alka seltzer." (squib-box) The four piece consists of Adam de la Cour (vocals), Richmond Stockwell (drums), Reuben Cain (guitar), and Mol (Bass). All members are currently involved in a combined twenty other bands/projects, so rehearsals are restricted to an average of two per year, therefore a plan was devised, it was decided that costumes and props were the priority and that pilfering (and bastardising) musical material from children's nursery rhymes and Disney films was a quick and surefire way to commercial success...It's also a good job they know how to play. Zipperface signed up with independent net label/new music co-operative squib-box in December last year and are now comfortable bed fellows with the cream of the UK's contemporary classical/experimental scene and recently played in the cells at the Old Deptford Police Station as part of the official squib-box launch in January this year. Using Gastromancy as their spring board they aim to become household names this year, before they get too old and the makeup affects their skin.
