I see life in a very humanistic point of view, the human strive for greatness is only surpassed by its will to survive. I look at a world and see death and destruction where there should be life and creation. I see a world full of bigotry and hate, but i also see how far we've come. Only 50 years ago the idea of openly gay people was absurd, now we have yearly parades celebrating diversity! I also see where we could be, helping people without required payment, treating the sick for no more reason then we care not because it pays the bills. I see love just out of reach, inching ever closer and just when im about to grasp it in my hands...its jerked away. I see a mind clouded by the voices of those around it, not knowing which way to turn, whether to take a chance and love or be safe yet alone. Why does the happiness we all strive for lie within the heart of another?
