ESTABLISHED IN 2004.ZIPTYE WAS FORMED AT HUSH STUDIOS(RIP)IN SEATTLE WA.THEY PLAYED THEIR WAY THROUGH THE SEATTLE CLUB SCENE WHILE ON THE WAY TO RECORDING THE BANDS FIRST DEMO AT WAX ROAD STUDIO IN LATE 2004.THEY ALSO RECORDED AT HANZSEK AUDIO IN 2005.THEN IN 2006 ZIPTYE TOOK A SIX MONTH BREAK,WHILE REFORMING WITH A NEW RHYTHM SECTION.AFTER A LOT OF HARD WORK & EFFORT, ZIPTYE HIT THE SCENE AGAIN WITH A FURY! STARTING IN JAN.07 WITH THE FIRST SHOW IN PORTLAND,OR.WHERE TWO OF THE MEMBERS ORIGINALLY CAME FROM. SINCE THEN ZIPTYE CONTINUES TO PLAY VENUES THROUGHOUT THE NW REGION.IN THE SPRING OF 07 THE BAND SET OUT TO RECORD THEIR FIRST EP FOR DISTRIBUTION,AND BY JUNE '07 ALL ROADS LED TO EGG STUDIOS & CONRAD UNO.THE POWER & CHEMISTRY OF THE NEW LINE-UP ALONG WITH THE EXPERTISE OF CONRAD HELPED PRODUCE WHAT HAS BECOME "NOT JUST FOR COPS & BONDAGE"-EP RELEASED IN FALL OF 2007.
