Zito and Switek are Justin Johnson and Jim Docktor, both respected DJs and producers on their own, but together they are...well...they are what they are, and fuck...right now they're probably in the studio, because all they do is LIVE for music.
Their love of all things funky brought them together. Actually, they were roommates in West Palm Beach, FL.
Jim Docktor (or 'Chewy' as close friends lovingly call him) is originally from Buffalo, NY. He spent some time in Manchester, England where he randomly, literally, 'discovered' The Hacienda one night while drunkenly stumbling around the streets. It changed his life forever. And, oh yeah...he also produces with DJ Greg P. under the moniker Pulaski Park.
Justin Johnson (yep, that's his real name) previously managed Satellite Records, NYC, where he started Cable Recordings with best buddy and fellow 40 oz. drinker DJ 3PO. Check out his mixsets by clicking here, where you'll find everything from bangin' house to roots reggae.
