About me:
Born in Japan. Since age of 4, started dancing classical ballet and got many awards in Japan in years. When she was 17, went to London learning from Royal Ballet Accademy in order to be a professional ballet dancer. But entering University changed her career to flamanco, and next year she already was in seville, Spain, taking classes from Manolo Marin, Maria del Mar Verranga, Javier Cruz, and Alicia Marquez. As getting back to Tokyo, she started performing in several important TABLAOs in Tokyo, and year 2000 gave her awards of Japanese Flamenco Association and ambassador of Spain. She started teaching next year in Tokyo and her hometown Iwate, and gave some classes of flamenco history and music, for further comprehension of the great espectacular of a tour of Manuel Reyes Company which she perticipated in. Year 2002, back to Spain, Learned from Cristobal Reyes, La China, Manuel Linan, and also studied spanish language in Hispania Estudio2. Year 2004 took her to Los Angeles, U.S. and joined Guitarist Jose Tanaka's Soniquete Flamenco and started teaching in Torrance CA. Since then she's been performing in Fountain Theatre in Hollywood, Alegria in Long Beach, Ole in Shaman Oaks, and so on. She has just got back from her third time of studing in Spain recently, and striving to improve her skills and spread it in here.
Who I'd like to meet: People who love to dance, express, laugh, think about meaning of life and struggling to live happier! Flamenco might help. I tell you because it worked for me amaisingly!
You have surely heard about the tragic death of a brave young woman who was murdered in Iran just for peacefully protesting with her father on the streets of Teheran.
The trick is to stay focused on what you want to happen and let go of what you do not... cuz if you keep seeing things as they are, convincing yourself that you "have to" because that's reality, then it will always be your reality. want to change? it's as simple as changing the who, what, how, why and when of what you look at and FOCUS on... DAILY :)
Tankism #25 Have a great week :) PS: see if you can "see" the picture below. It's pretty cool...
Failure is the best part of success. They are like yin and yang; you can’t have one without the other. So learn to celebrate your failures. Truly successful people even say they are successful because they have failed more than anyone they know. They keep trying and each time it doesn’t work, it’s just a learning experience. So, go out there, Fail, Learn, Succeed. Fail, Learn, Succeed. Say it with me now, Fail. Learn.. Succeed!!!
Put it this way, you CANNOT get hung up on when something doesn’t go your way. If you stay fixated on the failure, then you cut off the other two steps: Learn and Succeed. Fight the temptation to dwell on the failure with EVERYTHING you’ve got. Get excited about failing! Then Learn, Then Succeed!!!
Are you a glass half empty or glass half full type of person?
When life presents you with “experiences”, do you see them as problems that you can do nothing about or moves in a game and your job is to find the solution so you can “win the game?”
Have you failed in life or merely learned ways how not to do something on your way to achieving the life you know you deserve?
Do you live in a hostile world or a world that’s beautiful and full of possibilities?
Are you a know-it-all adult that no one can tell anything to, the world sucks and that’s just the way it is, or do you have child-like faith and can see things like children see them?
This week, let the kid in you back out. Laugh more…Appreciate more…Be thankful more…Help more…BE MORE…You were meant to be abundant, so go out there and start your treasure hunt :-)
Your mind is like a garden and your thoughts are like grass, beautiful smelling flowers and weeds… If you want grass to grow, you need to “plant it,” water it and take care of it. If you want beautiful smelling flowers, you need to plant “beautiful smelling flowers,” water them and take care of them. Whatever you want in your garden, you need to plant it, water it, take care of it. Now, sometimes your garden will have weeds and you need to pull them out. The thing about weeds… they grow automatically, rather you plan them or not. What are you planting?
Baby, Here's another Rocio Segura youtube. com. She busted out with the vocal cords. This is the number she did when I saw her live and she was pregnant.
