BANZAI!ZMIV IS BACK!!! In the early eighties,when the second blast of fierce pumping hardcore punk shocked the world, the Dutch scene was filled by the fury and the anger that lies within the determination to change all that felt wrong...The streets were burning, the system had to fall, studs mohawks & spikes a dreadfull threath. From out of nowhere-a tiny spot in the north of Holland - ZMIV was born.Comming from the countryside these guys had to compensate a lot to make a difference. Together with their little brother KNAX they started touring and rumours spreaded fast: there's something really crazy going on : Rotten,vital and louder than ever before! ZMIV got the attitude,the punk rock looks,the sing alongs, their raging gigs,a lot of humour and of course the crew-all packed together in the back of the rusty van ZMIV became a living legend and crushed under the weight of its own succes.Their 7 .. EP "Banzai, here's ZMIV , Beware!"became a collectors item, their recordings on the "Als je haar maar goed zit.... album" a historic example of the first crossover. Some twenty five years later, the system still didn't fall, repression commonly neglected and punkrock just another youth culture or having a good time...Anyway, cut the crap. ZMIV IS BACK!!!
