Christopher Plummer popularly known as "DJ Chris" born on Wednesday August 12, 1981 in the parish of Manchester, Jamaica. Chris grew up in a small community called "Albion District" listening to a wide variety of music such as Ska, Rock-Steady, Reggae, Dancehall, Calypso, Soca, Disco, Soul, R&B, Gospel, etc... pumpin' from the speaker boxes of his grandfather's[r.i.p.] juke box & sound system (Natural Mystic Disco). At age 6, Chris would wake up in the middle of the nights when he's certain that his grandparents was asleep, pile up a bunch of records & play them until he was caught. Chris's love for music grew when his uncle "Paul Grant" took over his father's sound system & renamed it "Zodiac Sound" where he "Chris" had the opportunity to practice on his mixing, scratching, etc... in the early 90's. In 1993, at age 12, you could catch Chris sneaking out of the house while his mom was asleep in order to attend house parties & dances that his uncle would be DJ'ing at & then on his arrival back home, he would normally greet the belt at the door which unfortunately never stopped him from sneaking out another night to attend another party, dance, etc... lol. In 1995, at age 14, unexpectedly, Chris got his first break from his uncle to DJ at a house party all by himself which he still remembers today as one of his greatest experience as a DJ. Chris then started DJ'ing at indoor & outdoor parties, dances, wedding receptions, banquets, school fetes, bar-b-ques, etc. DJ Chris gained popularity as his seamless mixing, scratching techniques & top of the line remixes caught the likes of many. Mandeville's hottest remix sound system Zodiac Sound is continuing its fast pace trend of being the sound system to watch out for. Zodiac Sound is now owned by Mr. Christopher Plummer popularly known as DJ Chris. The selector(s) with the sound are DJ Chris - Di Remix King & Paul "Gabbi" Zodiac. "BIG UP" to (Fisha, Apache & Cassie). For 2006 and beyond DJ Chris will be spinning up a storm on the Zodiac Sound. Chris also quoted that Zodiac Sound is not here to compete against any sound system it (Zodiac) is more of an entertainment company which focuses on promotion and production of music. For those of you out there who don't know DJ Chris - Chris is very str8 up, honest & down to earth. He would "never", "ever", say something behind your back that he couldn't tell you to your face. Chris is also a very loving, kind & caring individual with a good sense of humour & a charming personality. He's a DJ who does alot of "HOT" remixes, compose Dancehall, Hip-Hop & Rap beats, edit tracks & he's very persistent.
