ZODIAC SOCIAL is the studio alias of Norman Brannon — a DJ/producer from Brooklyn who found his love for house music on a German dancefloor in 1996. It's taken him to Chicago, where he worked for the legendary Gramaphone Records, and then to Berkeley, where he ran the Primal Records and PR2 Recordings labels from a dingy back room underneath a dirty public bathroom in a laundromat. (It leaked sometimes.) A New York City native, Brannon currently makes dirty beats and writes in third person from his obsessively clean bedroom.
you've come a long way from Resurrection to Zodiac Social. I love both and everything in between. This is really good, makes me wonder if a record is lined up any time soon?
