Born of angst and spite, ZODIAK is an original metal band from deep in the hills of Western Massachusetts. Differing motivations, influences, and ages of the envolving line up have helped mold ZODIAK's sound into a dark brand of hellish metal, all their own.
It has long been said, that hearing ZODIAK and seeing them perform live are two different beasts. In the spring of 2004 bookings began to line up all over New England. By the end of 2005, and through present, ZODIAK could be seen bringing a presence to the stage that left crowds at bars, concert halls, colleges and clubs from NYC to the Boston Area awestruck and eager for more. Now at 3-6 shows per month, that thirst is easily quenched throughout the Northeast.
In this time and before, the band has had the honor of sharing a stage with the likes of Wednesday 13 and Split Shift, not to mention bookings shared with Dope, Wasp, Overkill, Adema, Otep and many other notable acts.
The next step in the band's growth is to begin shopping for labels, in order to more easily expand their 6 track EP to a full length release, and enable them to bring their sound from Northeastern concert halls to the rest of the world.
