What began with a freestyle hit “This Isn’t Love Anymore” in 2001, to a Euro/Dance 1 single with DJ Rad “Come Home” in 2003, to a duet with JOEE “Run to You” in 2005… has sparked the excitement of fans worldwide; who have long awaited her follow up single with the extremely talented DJ RAD –Sweet Serenity ! With a Smashing House remix from two-time GRAMMY Award winners the KLUBJUMPERS (whose remixes include Britney Spears, PCD, Christina Milian, Enrique Iglesias and Mariah Carey) reflects Zoe’s accomplishments and development as a Canadian artist recognized all over the world. In particular, by ISV Entertainment and HIT Trax Record who is the label behind “Sweet Serenity” along with its American Debut Video!
Zoe’s follow-up album to “Innocent” 2005, entitled “My Side of the Story” will be released early this fall following the single-release of Sweet Serenity this Summer! The album will feature a variety of dance genres including Freestyle, Trance, Euro, Latin and House; as well as Candlelight ballads showcasing Zoe’s angelic vocals, “reminiscent of an earlier Madonna” BILLBOARD Magazine, January 8th 2004. Zoe will also begin her promotion tour in early April.
“My Side of the Story reflects what I truly believe in. There are two sides to every story, but the side that is most meaningful is the one that’s in your heart. That is where truth lies. The truth that no one can change or take away from you,” says Zoe smiling. “Sometimes it hurts because people think they know, but they have no idea how I feel. Being in a business and in a profession where you are constantly judged (no matter what level you get to) is very hard. I just learned to ignore some of the negativity I encounter, because at the end of the day I am very blessed to be where I am; and more importantly to work with people who are already where I want to be. As one chapter closes another one opens. I am very excited about my future- both musically and personally!”
Zoe has just teamed up with Kryzel an up-coming Canadian artist, born and raised in Colombia. At only eighteen years old, his talent for singing and dancing has caught Zoe’s attention; and her belief in giving others the same opportunities that have made her a household name in International Dance Music. Kryzel will be showcased in Zoe’s upcoming performances.
