Zoë is an accomplished young jazz vocalist who has performed at prominent venues, including Ronnie Scott’s, Wakefield Jazz Club and Fleece Jazz Kersey Mill and at international jazz festivals in Cork, Derry, Newcastle and Glasgow. Forthcoming performances include the Marsden Jazz Festival in October 2009.
In 2007 she recorded her debut album ‘Now That I Am Real’, which can be purchased here or is available to download from iTunes.
Her music has been aired on radio stations all over the world: in the UK, the USA, Australia, France, Spain and Belgium. Courtney Pine played Zoë’s recording of ‘West Coast Blues’ on his BBC Radio 2 show.
Zoë has performed with some of the UK and Ireland’s best regarded jazz musicians, including Louis Stewart, Jim Mullen Organ Trio, Gay McIntyre, Mike Carton, Tony Faulkner, Russell Van Den Berg, Lewis Watson and James Pearson
Growing up in a house bursting with jazz, Zoë has always been passionate about music. "I was brought up on listening to jazz. I love to listen to great singers and musicians and by doing so I have learnt so much about myself and music. It plays a huge part in what my style is about" She was inspired to become the vocalist she is today after training at Fionna Duncan’s Jazz Workshop.
