Biography Singer, songwriter Zoe Nicol is a maverick in the world of folk music—a storyteller with a lyrical twist. At a young age, she uncovered her musical gift of singing and adopted her brother’s neglected guitar. She now walks a life of an inspiring songstress. Born in 1989 in Kent, southeast of England, she grew up influenced by the likes of Joni Mitchell and Eva Cassidy who inspired her to become the sincere and heartfelt artist her fans have come to love. She is currently attending the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (also known as the Paul McCartney School) studying performing and songwriting as well as recording her debut album titled “Red”. This past year she became a top ten competitor in the ”Make It Break It Awards.” Last summer she performed with encouraging success at various festivals such as; Gazastock, Rotherfest, Local and Live and Festino.
