Hello everybody my name is zolo lebo but my friends call me zolie.
My backround is hungarian but i was born in slovakia a small country in
a heart of europe and now i live in canada funny eh?
Anyways i'm just an ordinary guy who likes writing singing
and producing music .
I also play a few instruments like guitar ,bass guitar ,piano
drums and accordion ..... not profesionaly by any means
just enough to write and record my own songs.
I was just out of the whome when i had my first contact with music.
my grandmother also my "baby sitter" made it her only goal in life
to teach me every slovak and hungarian folk song ever written
god bless her .
Yes I was a singing monkey for the entertainment of my family.
I suppose my parents tired of my accapella salute to the slovak people
for shortly there after I found myself a 6 year old
with an accordion straped to the front of me. Who knows maybe I was just
into everything and my parents despretly needed a way to ground me literaly so they found the
heaviest instrument they could to keep me from running around.
Any way that was my start to reading music and unnatural biceps for a 6 year old :) 8 years later i decided that accordion wasn't the instrument that was going to impress my friends
so i picked up the guitar. yes i am one of those 8 year olds who wanted to be a rock star
I formed my first band when i was about 14 years old and a year later we were playing
weddings ,birthday partyies etc . this was for people celebrating on a small budget obviously. (Yes i was a 15 yr old wedding singer)
while playing in the band i also learned to play a little bit of a bass guitar and
my friend robie let me screw around with his drum set so i learned to play drums a little.
By the age of 19 i signed my first record deal my band was called GATE 4 beside me there was
robie ,andy and ronnie in the band, the four of us enjoyed some succses
you know tv ,radio and all that ....a year later the band fell apart word of warning never choose the first record company who shows some intrest or at least read the fine print.
So i moved to canada. I started writing new songs ...and build my own recording studio in my basement.
For now i have posted few demo songs for you guys to hear......

This album takes you on a musical journey like no other.
