Movies
Gut-wrenching, plot twisting, mind-bending, psychological horror. Splatter horror. B-rated horror. Sci-Fi. Anime. Classical mysteries. Good, dry British humour. Anything by Tim Burton. Anything starring JohnnyDepp, Bela Lugosi, Vincent Price, Christopher Walken, Boris Karloff, Charlie Chaplin, Anthony Hopkins, or Yahoo Serious (not serious.)
(Did I already mention Johnny Depp?)
A few of my favorites are: 12 Monkeys, The Adventures of Baron Munchauzen, White Zombie, Carnival of Souls, Drop Dead Fred (childhood fave), Labyrinth, Dead Alive, and The Princess Bride.
Television
I don't watch much television currently, but you can't go wrong with these classic favorites of mine:
The Twilight Zone, The Young Ones, Red Dwarf, Laverne & Shirley, Car 54:Where Are You?, The Honeymooners, I Love Lucy, The Munsters, Looney Tunes/Merry Melodies, Thundercats (Ho!). I also like Nova, Invader Zim, and anything on Animal Planet or the History channel.
Books
My parents are English teachers, so my tastes tend to be quite broad. My favorites include works by Mark Twain, Neil Gaiman, Anthony Burgess, Sylvia Plath, Dylan Thomas, Robert Frost, Oscar Wilde, Charles Dickens, Voltaire (classic and modern), Jhonen Vasquez, Dostoyevsky, William S. Burroughs, George Orwell, and John Milton. Lewis Carroll is my absolute favorite!! See my GoodReads profile: http://www.goodreads.com/profile/Zombaby
