I'm into comics; not your garden variety superhero comics, although I like the idea of being a superhero. Also an advocate for the proper use of apostrophes and semicolons. And pirates, because who doesn't love eyepatches and swords?
Music
Pixies, Peter Murphy, Tomayasu Hotei, U2, Dvorak, Russian folk music (which my boyfriend teases me about), Neko Case, Flogging Molly, Nine Inch Nails, The Moody Blues, Abba, The Bee Gees.
And I genuinely like Barry Manilow, Elvis Presley and Bryan Adams. Don't judge me.

The Wizard of Oz, Nightwatch, Serenity, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, anything Indiana Jones, Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive, The Muppet Movie, Flash Gordon, Some Kind of Wonderful, pretty much any costume drama, anything with Hugh Laurie

Boston Legal, Venture Bros., Heroes, Life on Mars, Twin Peaks, Black Adder, The Wire, Gilmore Girls, Carnivale, anything with Hugh Laurie
Books
Nightwatch, Watchmen, V for Vendetta, Sandman, Seven Soldiers of Victory, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, The Drifters, Tales of the South Pacific, Caravans, Cold Mountain, Vanity Fair, Motherless Brooklyn, The Mambo Kings Sing Songs of Love
I currently write the "Intergalactic Law" comic strip and am working on a print series for this year. I'm also a contributing writer for Sequential Tart and operate www.pinkraygun.com, the webzine for fangirls.
We produce the webcomic ~a href="http://www.intergalacticlaw.com">Intergalactic Law.~/a>
We'd like to develop this property for animation, but have no idea where to start. Any independent producers/ animators want to point us in the right direction?

About me:
Thanks for the friendship! I've written a comic that is competing on Zuda this month, and I'm working hard at becoming Zuda (DC Comics') first female lead to win the competition. If you want a shot at one of two Pat's or Geno's gift certificates, while helping to raise money for the Police Survivor's Fund, then read and follow the strip below. Clicking on the strip will bring you right to the Zuda page. Thanks for your support!
OK, about me. . . I'm the editor of Pink Raygun, the webzine featuring news, reviews and interviews for fangirls.
I also write Intergalactic Law (which offline for now but will be coming back soon), which is a comic strip featuring aliens, lawyers, alien lawyers, and all manner of things I like to mock.
And I've been a contributing writer for Sequential Tart.
Thanks for accepting the request. If you have any short stories, poetry, or artwork collecting thought-sucking maggots within your mind or computer worms in the folders of My Documents, then send them our way. Deadline for submission is July 30. Check out our homepage and blog for more information.
Hi. I just found out that my book (That Which Bites) is now available on Barnesandnoble.com, Amazon.com, and participating bookstores. I guess I was the last one to find out. Have a good weekend.
lol I was just thinking that I'd have to leave you a comment and see how you went with the comp then I got on here and saw your status...gutted you didn't win. That was a good comic :)
Well, 6th>3rd in record time... that Zuda site sign up captcha seemed a bit dodgy tho, i reckon a lot of fun could be had with such practical jokes in cyberland... except for the inforoad-rage factor Good management with the cartcomp! Cheers :D
