I wanted to do something as simple as possible for this release. Recording this album relaxed me and is 100% the opposite of what I am used to doing when recording music projects. The end result being a disc that I can take to the forest with me and drink some beer after work, wind down and let the time pass by. I think this style will be a one time deal and for the next release Zombie Battle axe will build on this style while falling back on doing stuff like the older recordings. You can expect Zombie Battle Axe to start doing some live shows in the future as well. Thanks for the interest in Zombie Battle Axe...

After years of loose tracks, unfinished demos, a name change and the recent scrapping of the old demos the first Zombie Battle Axe disc has finally been released. "...now you are dead" is a primitive and raw recording. No living sounds were used in the making of this disc. Comprised of horror noise and improvised organs this disc sets an eerie atmosphere ideal for sipping on a bottle of red wine during a paranoid walk through the woods...
