Ah... Vacationland! It's here at long last... Summertime in Portland, Maine! Barbecues all over Munjoy Hill, picnics across the Eastern Promenade. Kites flying above the East End Beach, boats sailing in Casco Bay. Friends and lovers lazing on the lawn, families basking on the beach, children frolicking on the playground. And swarms of zombies invading the city and descending on the Eastern Prom for a knock-down, drag-out game of kickball!
Zombie Kickball first broke out in Portland, Maine on the Eastern Promenade on May 28, 2006.
Then, a second outbreak of Zombie Kickball happened on Portland's Eastern Prom on May 27, 2007.
Zombie Kickball broke out for a third time on the Eastern Prom on June 29, 2008. A 21+ pre-party at the Asylum set off the frenzy. An all-ages after-party at the Space capped off the craze.

Greetings all!!!! The first Night of the Living Dead showing in Waterville after all of the Zombie kickball fun and the walk is at 9:30pm. Ken from Railroad square would like to ask all of you if there is a big interest in also having a midnight showing of the film? Zombie Walk In WaterVille Update!!!!! THe movie is not going to be played until 9pm, so I would like all of the zombies to show up between 3 and 4. This way everything will kind of fall back to back. There is going to be a soccer field reserved for this event (Let the kickball game begin). We will then walk from the soccer field to the railroad square cinema, where we will 'Eat some brains' in the restraunt at the square, and then enjoy the film....I look forward to seeing all of you at this fun event.....Christopher
