SUNNY DAY BG EUROVISION SEMIFINAL 24.01.2009 Zona was founded at the beginning of 2003 by the guitarist Hristo. Together with Aleksander, bass guitar player, they decided to record a few songs, as they wrote the text and music themselves in Presidentstudio. There they met Bisser, who was working as a soundengineer at the time but later joined the band as well. The band plays melodic rock mixed with electronic beats. Its music reminds the style of bands such as U2, INXS, Tommy Lee, Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc. But better listen yourself! Zona Band has decided to create their own profile at Myspace web page so that their fans can be the first ones to hear all the new stuff. The band’s songs have become very popular among people surfing the net. Some of the most popular songs are In the morning, Sunny Day and Feelings which you can hear as well. At the moment the band is recording their first album in the studio. They have been invited to open the “Author music evenings” organized by www. muzikant. org. as well as to take part in a live show at the “ Fans” Rock Club, Sofia, where they became very popular. The band is planning two very important concerts in the near future - the first one in Samokov town, together with another famous Bulgarian rock legend band Signal. The second one is going to be at the traditional festival Rock in Rila. Zona also plays at various rock clubs such as Tukan, The Mask and Fans where you are always welcome to enjoy their great performances!
