ZONE BACKGROUND AND HISTORY:
We are a non-profit, idealistic organization that started fixing gigs at a time where there were practically no metal live scene in our home town, Trondheim.
The first Zone activity took place in the autumn of 2000 when founder Jan Roger arranged a metal-vorspiel prior to a "Black Sunday" concert with Mayhem at Samfundet in Trondheim. A year after, Zone became more like the way we know it today and has since then grown larger and arranged greater events and have arranged gigs with bands such as Cannibal Corpse, Destruction, Candlemass, Vader, Behemoth, Rotting Christ, Nile, Paul DiAnno, Windir, Enslaved and more!
