Cloaked Characters, The Empyreal Dark Party Palooza Hop, established in 2000 by Joseph Tavares (a.k.a. Jay Tablet) and Rory Restani (a.k.a. Rory ONEders). Their music has been described as poetic hip-hop with deep, philosophical lyrics and is backed by producers Mr. E and Bennet Bangers’ unique and energetic beats. With influences spanning from Tupac to Swollen Members to Pink Floyd to Sublime and many in between. Cloaked Characters’ original sound will impress listeners worldwide. Cloaked Characters has quickly made a name for themselves in the North West. Recognized by URB Magazine’s next 1000, Filter magazine’s top 5 emerging new artists and are finalists in the ISC international songwriters competition for HipHop/RnB.
