The first weekend of the New Year sees the launch of a brand new Friday night adventure at Northern Ireland..s leading dance music venue, The Stiff Kitten club in Belfast.
Zoo is the latest addition to The Stiff Kitten..s weekly roster and joins the likes of student-night Revolver on Tuesdays, Northern Ireland..s finest indie-rave mash-up - Sketchy on Thursdays and Timmy Stewart and Mark Bells Islandhopper night on Saturdays.
Zoo launched on Friday January 5th with Psycatron kick-starting their first residency in the city having played just about every club worth playing in Northern Ireland over the last couple of years, including Shine, Lush, Deep Fried Funk and many more.
The blueprint of the music policy reflects an open-minded approach to house music where cutting-edge meets classic-cool, with the emphasis firmly on making Friday nights fun again. Psycatron..s hybrid live show of laptops and cdj..s allows them to constantly re-edit and remix live throughout the night, dropping in their own interpretations of music which has inspired them over the years, alongside cutting-edge jams from the entire spectrum of electronic music.
As the club nights goes from strength to strength some of the world finest DJ's and live acts have and will grace the the stage at Zoo including CARL COX, JAMES HOLDEN, EROL ALKAN, A GUY CALLED GERALD, LOUIS OSBOURNE, HOT CHIP, SLAM, MR. C, RADIOSLAVE, MAGDA, FERGIE and many more firmly cementing Zoo's reputation as the ONLY place to be in Belfast on a Friday night.
