it started with a surfing safari tape i got from sears when i was 10. I soon moved into NKOTB... which lasted maybe 3 months before i discovered alice cooper and motley crew. faith no more was my world in grade school for years until seattle broke. In my first two years of highschool it was pearl jam and nirvana for me. i saw tommy on broadway and it blew my mind. the summer candlebox and bush came out i vowed never to watch mtv again and i started going to local shows. silentmajority made me fall in love with hardcore... both melodic and heavy... took me down a road from everything from sunny day real estate to sick of it all. then the death metal obsession... I started dancing in college... then weird european pop won my heart. then I was tired and started listening to my dads old folk rock. simon and garfunkel is the most new york music you can get. then when i went to seattle I had a steady diet of kexp and dj shadow and quannum crew... i love the legends... arcade fire. i dont know when I discoved public enemy but they are my hometown heros. as more of the underground concentrated on pp hooks and eyeliner the cultral vortex grows larger so i dont know what new music i will discover next.... i will probably discover something new in someone dead.

I grew up in the NYHC scene, and well I don’t look so punk these days... I like to make videos. I am of the age when reality begins to creep up on ones idealism but I still hope to make a movie one day that will save the world, or at the very least help someone.
